Authorizations Portal!

The Authorizations Portal is a web-based platform that provides an easy and secure way to perform and streamline administrative tasks when requesting authorization for inpatient and outpatient services. In the portal, you may:

• Submit authorization requests
• Upload medical information and other supporting documentation
• Complete medical necessity reviews using evidence-based guidelines
• Obtain an immediate decision based on the medical review submission
• Check the status of a request that did not meet evidence-based guidelines
• View and print letters
• Submit additional information, including discharge notifications

Prior to submitting a request for authorization, please have the following available:

• Member name, ID, and date of birth
• Provider and facility names
• Diagnosis and/or procedure codes
• Member-specific clinical information needed for completing the medical necessity review
• Any documents that will be uploaded and attached to the authorization request
